Characters and Classes
Playable Characters Description
Characters in Antár Universe can be acquired on OpenSea, where 11 types of special characters are available, each with initial specific abilities that can boost their careers in the game. Alternatively, players can start in the free mode with a generic character, which has no initial abilities but can learn and develop skills by collecting resources, hunting, crafting items, or performing other activities in the game.
It is important to note that free characters have a limited lifespan. If they maintain a healthy life by consuming high-quality food, they can live for a long time. However, if they consume low-quality food, they will have a life full of diseases and shorter lifespan. Purchased characters can generate offspring, combining the genetic aspects of the parents to create a new character that can be turned into an NFT and sold to other players. Free characters cannot generate offspring nor be sold.
Players can acquire multiple characters in their accounts, managing all of them simultaneously. Characters get tired of their daily tasks and need to sleep, but players can manage numerous activities while their characters sleep or have characters that work at night, depending on the playstyle each player wants to follow.
Players can buy lands, such as baronates, and appoint a character to receive a noble title, such as duke or count. Noble characters will be the managers of the region. Players can choose various professions for their characters, such as blacksmiths, and social classes can be bought or achieved as they rise in the social caste. A character who becomes a king can elevate the social class of other characters by giving them public positions.
Classes and Skills
Antár Universe has a vast array of skills. The game is based on a proficiency system where the more a character performs a specific activity, the better they become at that skill. For example, the more a character fishes, the better fisherman they become; the more they train or fight, the better combatant they become. Players must decide which skills each character will develop to achieve high proficiency in specific areas. If a player wants a character to become a blacksmith who forges legendary armor, they need to produce many items to reach that level, which means they will not be an excellent combatant as they spend their time forging instead of training with swords.
Character Customization and Evolution
Character customization in Antár Universe is primarily based on skill proficiencies, making each character unique with a specific combination of special skills. Additionally, the game offers numerous cosmetics and items that characters can acquire or craft to stand out and be recognized wherever they are.
The game also has a system of heroism and villainy tags, differentiating characters based on their actions. For example, if a character robs a bank, they become a villain. If another character captures this villain, they become a hero. This way, every action in the game contributes to making characters unique and memorable.
Noble Classes
In Antár Universe, characters can ascend to different noble classes, each with unique responsibilities and privileges. There are six main noble classes: Emperor, King, Grand Duke, Duke, Count, and Baron. Each class plays a crucial role in managing lands, leading armies, and forming alliances.
Emperor
The Emperor is the highest noble class in Antár Universe. As the supreme ruler, the Emperor has authority over all kingdoms and duchies on the continent. He can summon vast armies, impose laws and decrees, and mediate disputes between kings and dukes. The Emperor also has the ability to grant noble titles and distribute lands to his vassals, shaping the balance of power across the continent. The position of Emperor is obtained through epic conquests and powerful alliances.
King
The King rules an entire kingdom and is responsible for protecting his lands and subjects. He can lead armies in battles, negotiate treaties with other kingdoms, and organize festivals and events that promote the culture and tradition of his kingdom. The King can also appoint counts and barons to administer smaller regions within his kingdom. Ascension to the King class is achieved through military and political conquests.
Grand Duke
The Grand Duke governs multiple provinces within a kingdom, serving as the right hand of the King. He is responsible for maintaining order and prosperity in his provinces, managing resources, and leading defenses against invasions. The Grand Duke has the authority to convene regional councils and can intervene in disputes between dukes and counts. The position of Grand Duke is granted by the King in recognition of merit and loyalty.
Duke
The Duke governs a province within the kingdom and is responsible for local administration, tax collection, and defense of his lands. He can build fortresses, organize militias, and promote economic and social development in his province. The Duke also has the power to grant titles of count and baron within his province. The position of Duke is acquired through loyal service to the King or Emperor.
Count
The Count governs a county, a smaller region within a province. He is responsible for ensuring the agricultural and commercial prosperity of his county, as well as local security. The Count can organize fairs, improve infrastructure, and mediate disputes between barons and peasants. The position of Count is often granted by the Duke or Grand Duke in recognition of efficient administration and loyalty.
Baron
The Baron governs a barony, which is the smallest administrative unit in Antár Universe. He is responsible for local administration, the well-being of his subjects, and the defense of his lands. The Baron can build small fortifications, organize local guards, and promote economic and social activities in his barony. The position of Baron is the first step in the noble hierarchy, usually granted by a Count or Duke.
